It's finally happening! "Bridgerton" Season 3 is coming, and this season, it's Penelope Featherington's turn to find love. Ahead of the third season's release this spring, Netflix just released a teaser trailer that gives us all our first look at the secret Lady Whistledown's journey on the marriage mart.

Though the teaser trailer is less than a minute long, it shows that we have a lot to look forward to in "Bridgerton's" third season.
The trailer shows Penelope Featherington (played by Nicola Coughlan), who appears to have rekindled her friendship with Colin Bridgerton (Luke Newton) after their falling-out in Season 2.
"Your eyes are a most remarkable shade of blue, and yet somehow they shine even brighter when you are kind," she says, as they gaze intently at one another. Once they finally look away from each other, she stutters as she adds, "I might say something like that if you were a suitor."
A clearly flustered Colin replies, "Well, that was rather direct."
Could love finally be blossoming between these two?
In its official synopsis for the season, Netflix reveals that Penelope has given up on her long-held crush on Colin by the start of Season 3.
"She has, however, decided it’s time to take a husband, preferably one who will provide her with enough independence to continue her double life as Lady Whistledown, far away from her mother and sisters," it says.
There's just one problem: Penelope is lacking in confidence, and her debut on the marriage mart doesn't go well. Colin, who has returned from his summer travels and wants to win back Penelope's friendship, offers to mentor her.
"But when his lessons start working a little too well, Colin must grapple with whether his feelings for Penelope are truly just friendly," the synopsis reads.
