Someone isn't downsizing in this economy: Barbie. A new 2026 Barbie DreamHouse is here — the most customizable version yet, and one of the largest at almost 4 feet tall. It comes with a three-story main house, plus a two-story second structure that kids can move around and connect via a bridge. Altogether, there are nine indoor and outdoor play areas, two pools, two slides and a working three-level elevator that’s wheelchair accessible — plus more than 65 furniture pieces and accessories to arrange in the flexible layout. Good for Barbie.
Mattel is going just as big as the house itself for the launch.
The "Barbie Is Moving" campaign will feature a custom 26-foot pink moving truck, which is making stops in New York City, Dallas and Los Angeles from October through November. Visitors can step inside, take photos, do activities and try to win prizes.
Pinterest is launching a limited-time Barbie experience on its Restyle app, where users can upload a photo of their own room and virtually redecorate it in one of five DreamHouse-inspired styles, from midcentury Americana to superstar glam.
