Common diaper insert materials include cotton, microfiber, hemp, bamboo, and microfiber. Cotton tends to be the most affordable, but you might require several layers to achieve dependable absorbency. Microfiber is a popular and affordable insert material, but while these can provide decent absorbency, they’re prone to compression leaks and direct contact can irritate skin.
