How to use the Levoit Core 200S Smart Air Purifier

Before use, the Levoit Core 200S Smart Air Purifier needs some setup. Most importantly, you must remove the filter from its packaging by detaching it from the device using the same process as replacing the filter.

While it is marketed as being able to purify the air in areas around 900 square meters, the Core 200S would be practically ineffective in such a large space.

Bloated app

The VeSync app allows users to control the Levoit Core 200S from their smartphones and interfaces the unit with voice-operated assistants like Alexa and Google Assistant. However, the app has a busy interface that promotes and sells products as much as control ones already purchased.

Few fan speeds

The Levoit Core 200S has three fan speeds: low, medium and high, with high being the most effective speed for air filtration. During testing, testers noted that additional speed settings, such as medium-high or medium-low, would have been nice.
