- If you're an Amazon Prime member, you can use the Amazon app to set deal alerts when the price drops on items in your wishlist. You can do this in "Your Account," under the "Personalize Your Recommendations" option.
- Look out for flash sales on Prime Day. These discounts are steep, but products sell out quickly.
Alternatives to consider if you miss Prime Day deals
- If you miss Prime Day in July, the next sale event to look out for is Labor Day in September. Amazon sometimes also holds a second Prime Day later in the year and, of course, there's Black Friday in November.
- You can use tools such as Honey and CamelCamelCamel to check price trends on an item over time to see if you're getting a good deal. You can also set alerts if it drops below a certain price.
